CPAP Rotation Requirements
PL-1s & PL-2s:
Goal #1: Exposure to various advocacy issues/topics
Residents will attend & actively participate in:
- Rotation Orientation & Debriefing Sessions
- Monthly Advocacy Noon Conference
- Weekly Grand Rounds Advocacy Campaigns
- Legislative visit (when applicable)
- All scheduled lectures
- All evaluations
- All scheduled community experiences
Goal #2: Development of core advocacy skills
Residents will attend & actively participate
in:
- All Advocacy Module Orientations & Debriefings
- All Scheduled Community Experiences
- Weekly Grand Rounds Advocacy Campaigns
- Legislative visit (when applicable)
Goal #3: Clinical Experience in Developmental Pediatrics & Adolescent
Medicine
Residents will attend and participate in:
- Developmental Pediatrics Clinic and Adolescent Outpatient Clinic
- All scheduled lectures
PL-3s:
Goal #1: Application of core advocacy skills to project development
Goal #2: Participation in various advocacy activities
- Lead monthly Advocacy Journal Club
- Weekly Grand Rounds Advocacy Campaigns
- Attend weekly Quality and Patient Safety
Meetings
- Community events sponsored CPAP Community Partners
and/or the Office of Government Affairs & Community Relations
- Legislative visit (when applicable)
- Resident Project Poster Session at Graduation
- Assist with transitioning PL-2 residents who have an interest in continuing
a specific Senior Advocacy Project from past residents
- All evaluations
